OVERVIEW

With a high-CBD and low-THC component, the Harle-Tsu strain is a slightly indica-dominant (60:40) hybrid that was developed by the Southern Humboldt Seed Collective. It is a cross of Sour Tsunami and Harlequin. You may even receive a Harle-Tsu sample, which contains 38.78% CBD, although most samples will range between 20-24% CBD with a minimun THC of below 1%.

Even a single whiff of Harle-Tsu will probably help you relax for a moment! The spicy odors offer a scent of pine, pepper, and earth. These aromas fill your senses to the point that you’ll feel like you’re taking a walk in a forest.

After you smell Harle-Tsu, you may expect it to have the same spicy and earthy taste. However, it is surprisingly sweet. There are also hints of citrus and pepper that sit nicely on your palette.

USES OF STRAIN

Harle-Tsu has become one of the most highly sought-after medical marijuana strains. It is exceedingly rich in terpenes, and each terpene is believed to have its own specific medical benefit. Here is a quick list of these terpenes and what they can potentially treat:

  • Myrcene: Depression, insomnia, and muscle tension
  • Pinene: Fatigue
  • Humulene: Pain and inflammation
  • Terpinolene: Stress and insomnia
  • Ocimene: Has antibacterial and antiviral properties
  • B-Caryophyllene: Inflammation and gastrointestinal issues

It is the combination of numerous terpenes and CBD that provides Harle-Tsu with its purported medicinal qualities. Even though Harle-Tsu has minimal THC, it is still classified as a Schedule I substance, like every other marijuana strain.

WHAT IS CBD FLOWER?

CBD flower comes from the hemp plant, a member of the cannabis family. Cannabis plants are classified as either hemp or marijuana based on their Delta 9 THC content. Delta 9 (D9) is the psychoactive compound in cannabis that gets you “high.”

Cannabis plants with high levels of D9 are classified as marijuana, while those with low levels are classified as hemp. We source all of our CBD from hemp plants. CBD flower is full spectrum, meaning it contains all of the compounds naturally found in cannabis. This includes a very small amount of D9 — not enough to feel high, but just enough to manifest the full synergistic effects of hemp.

Our farmers in Oregon and Colorado use greenhouse and light deprivation technologies to produce the highest quality hemp flower. They select only the best buds and hand-trim them to perfection. CBD flower can be smoked or used to make other CBD products like topicals, tinctures, edibles, vape juices, and concentrates.

HOW DOES CBD FLOWER WORK?

CBD (cannabidiol) is a cannabinoid. A cannabinoid is a compound derived from hemp cannabis plants like CBD or Delta 8 THC. These compounds support a network in our bodies called the endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS is responsible for regulating many neural and physiological processes. All mammals have an ECS, and our bodies produce endocannabinoids of their own.

The cannabinoids found in CBD flower are structurally similar to our natural endocannabinoids. As a result, CBD is able to give the ECS a helping hand, promoting mind-body homeostasis.

What Are the Benefits & Effects of CBD Flower?

The endocannabinoid system regulates many essential bodily functions, including:

  • Sleep
  • Appetite
  • Digestion
  • Discomfort
  • Memory
  • Mood

CBD supports the ECS, aiding these processes. It promotes relaxation, a positive mindset, better sleep, and relief from physical and mental distress.

There are many ways to enjoy the benefits of CBD — oil, edibles, vapes, concentrates. Each method is a little different. Here are a few ways smoking CBD flower is unique:

  • Fast-Acting: Smoking hemp flower is the fastest way to feel CBD’s beneficial effects. When you inhale CBD, it will cross the blood-brain barrier in a matter of seconds, as opposed to a few minutes with a tincture or up to an hour with edibles and capsules.
  • Entourage Effect: The term “entourage effect” refers to the synergistic effects of full spectrum hemp products. CBD flower includes all the cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids (the “full spectrum”) found in cannabis plants. When you take all of these compounds together, the effects are truly greater than the sum of their parts.
  • Social Experience: For many people, smoking is a social activity. Why not pass around a CBD joint at your next party? You could even gather your friends around a hookah or bong for a communal smoking experience.
  • Cost-Effective: Since flower is the simplest form of CBD, it is typically the most cost-effective. Other CBD products require additional processing after the crop cycle is complete, but the flower is ready for sale as soon as it’s picked and pruned. Less processing time means less expense.
